How it Started

The Design

We wanted to create a very natural and organic feel to this yard so that the landscaping seemed to blend effortlessly with the slope of the yard.

We used the rosetta steps to create this feel up their side hill so that the steps very much felt like they belonged in the landscaping and were never a distraction from the rest of the yard.

We also created a unique Unilock patio design and firepit area as the centerpiece for their outdoor living space.

The Process

This project used retaining walls to create more usable space out of their walkout basement and create an area to entertain in.

We used rosetta stone in the front entry to create a small sloping retaining wall so that we could create a gradual grade to their front door to eliminate any steps up to that front patio.

It created a walkway that flowed naturally to the front door and the opportunity to contrast textures and elevations to create a unique design.
