How it Started

The yard had incorrect sloping which was the main source of their water issues. They had also basic concrete walkways and not much for landscaping to speak of and the deer were a constant issue with the cabin being located in such a heavily wooded area.

The Digital Design

We knew we could take this AirBnB yard to the next level and solve their water issues all at the same time with some creative wall placement and fire features.

We brought the Baumlers our digital design ideas and they knew this was what the yard needed!

The Process

We started with completely waterproofing the basement and then using precisely place wing walls and seat walls to effectively move water AWAY from the home!

In the process, we were able to create a front entrance that wowed guests as they arrived and add a beautiful fire feature that created a cozy spot for guests to enjoy evenings outdoors.

We also took into consideration that the plants we placed in this yard needed to be minimal maintenance and stand a fighting chance again the deer population that liked to munch on their previous landscaping! We planted lots of deer-resistant plants that made the yard pop and stay looking great all summer for guests!

We couldn't be happier with how this project turned out!
