How it Started

They had very little usable space in front of their home due to a hillside.

We were able to build in a rosetta stone retaining wall and a Unilock patio for them to be able actually to utilize their space.

The Digital Design

Tony got to work on his digital design to help the Monhardts envision what the possibilities with this space (or lack of space) could be.

During the design process, Tony also brought up that it may be a good idea to make sure that the new design was handicap-accessible since there were no existing no-step entries into the home. It was not a current need of theirs, but thinking into the future, planning for this can be a smart idea.

They loved that Tony had brought that to their attention and were more than happy to adjust the design to be step free.

The Process

This paper might not look like much to you but every part of our design are preplanned and designed.

We know where every stone will be placed and the foundation it will need to last a lifetime!

We take planning details seriously so that you end up with an outdoor living space that lasts!

The Final Result

In the end, we created a space in an area that they had never been able to use before!

Now they have a no-step entry into their home, a beautiful and unique patio to enjoy and entertain on plus the water now moves AWAY from their home!

By adding in tile to this project, we made sure that water will always move away from the home and won't cause flooding or runoff issues.

We make sure that our designs are not only beautiful but functional as well!
